In CaribbeanVacay we took on the task of looking for films that have been shot in the Mexican Caribbean since many times when we watch a movie (and we love it!), We have wanted to live the adventures that the protagonists showed us or at least know those places. That is why we will leave you this time the list of 5 films that were shot in the Mexican Caribbean and that we know you will not let go.

We invite you to see them and to be captivated by the Caribbean Sea:

1. VIAJES DE ESPERANZA

Filmed in 2012, it tells the story of a successful lawyer who falls in love, loses everything and finds true wealth at the same time. The scenarios where they were recorded were Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Here is the official trailer

2. XIBALBÁ

If you are curious about the Mayan culture and the whole mystery surrounds you, you have to see this movie. It relates the life of an archaeologist who carries out an expedition in the underground rivers of the caves of the Mayan jungle in search of ancient records of this civilization but what they will find will leave them breathless. 3. CÁSESE QUIEN PUEDA

One part was recorded on the beaches of Cancún and another in the Mayan jungle. The story is about two sisters who must go through the strangest situations to find or realize what is truly important in their lives. Watch trailer here

4. BAKTÚN

This film is narrated in the Mayan language and tells the story of a young man who, due to the death of his father, decides to leave his job and life in New York and return to his place of origin, where he begins to find himself again. Watch the trailer here

5. TIEMPOS FELICES

It is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Max, a young man who has tried everything to cut with his girlfriend but fails, desperate, hire the services of an agency specializing in ending relationships, only to discover that there is no perfect solution. Although much of the film is shot in Mexico City, we can see the beautiful beaches of Cancun in a scene that makes us think that in the end everything is possible ... or not? Watch trailer here
